IFMGA Mountain & Ski Guide
To gain IFMGA status through NZMGA, you must meet the following requirements and apply to the Technical Subcommittee:

• NZMGA Ski Guide status
• NZMGA Climbing Guide status
• A minimum of three years must have elapsed since Trainee Guide status was granted
• Payment of a one-off UIAGM levy of $50
• Current financial membership of the NZMGA.

IFMGA status from another member country will be accepted for NZMGA membership and IFMGA status with NZMGA.

Status

This is the highest level of qualification awarded by NZMGA and is the same standard as the qualifications of other IFMGA member countries.
